The first appointment in the sports clinic and rehabilitation lasts 60 minutes. It consists in creating your record, getting your condition assessed by the physiotherapist, establishing your treatment plan and receiving your first treatment.

The number and frequency (for example, once or twice a week) of follow-up treatments in physiotherapy clinic for your condition will then be evaluated by the physiotherapist.

Please wear comfortable or sports clothing in our sports clinic and rehabilitation for allow our physio to assess and treat the region of your injury: shorts for a knee or ankle injury, singlet or sports top for a shoulder or neck injury, etc.

Physio treatments follow-up appointment lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. Each follow-up appointment is conducted by the physiotherapist who assessed your condition. No other patient is scheduled at the same time in our physiotherapy clinic in Longueuil. (no double booking).

A session with a pysiotherapist can include mobilizations, introduction of an exercise program, electrotherapy treatments, teachings, discussions, follow-up with your doctor (with your permission), training in our sports clinic and filling out your record.

Once your treatments come to an end, your record stays active for a two-month period, allowing you to monitor your progress.

During that period, your physiotherapist will contact you by phone or email, according to your instructions, to see how you are doing, and you can always request an additional follow-up appointment if you feel your condition is deteriorating.

You can make an appointment without a medical prescription in our physiotherapy clinic in Longueuil, whether you have private health insurance or not.

Our physiotherapists can take care of your private insurance claim (accepted by most major insurance companies) for you.

If needed, your physiotherapist can refer you to other professionals (orthopedics, medical imagery, osteopathy, etc.) for supplement our proposed physiotherapeutic care.

We are a SAAQ licenced provider.

Please call our physiotherapists at a sports clinic and mention your SAAQ status when making your first appointment. You will need to have your medical prescription as well as your SAAQ record number ready. Our physiotherapist team will then open your SAAQ physiotherapy record and confirm your treatments with the SAAQ.

SAAQ covers $55 per appointment. This leaves a 30$ balance for your first 60-minute appointment with a physio and a $20 balance for follow-up appointments. You can claim these amounts with your private insurance or include them in your tax return.
